Why We Built This Site
Louisiana public-records rules allow access to legally available court material, but the route depends on the court and the document. Jeff Skidmore, the Vernon Parish Clerk of Court, is the custodian for 30th JDC civil, criminal, family, probate, succession, and related files. Leesville City Court and municipal mayor’s courts have separate contacts. The public 30th JDC Calendar is a scheduling tool, while the clerk’s recording index is used for instruments such as mortgages, judgments, and conveyances. No verified universal public Louisiana trial-court database supplies a complete Vernon district-court docket. The purpose here is to keep those channels distinct and to point readers to the clerk or court that holds the original record.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It is not connected to any Louisiana court, clerk, or state agency. Its limits are important:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk or court that holds a case can issue an official or certified copy. The original document must come from that office.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes supplied by third-party providers. Those providers operate their own services and pricing, and a paid signup can result in a referral fee for this site. That does not make a result an official court record. The provider controls its service, charges, and results; the clerk or originating court remains the source for confirmation.
